Job Description

The Purpose of this position is to Implement and Support Value stream in executing Digital Solutions in Plant/organization.

• Mine & analyze data & carry out predictive modelling to improve operational excellence.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Ability to develop project plans, manage budgets, and track progress against milestones. Ensure that the plant is compliant with all relevant regulations and standards related to digital technology in manufacturing.
• Analyse data from manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement of operational efficiency.
• Promote latest digital technologies and their application in manufacturing. Ensure that new technologies are effectively adopted by the plant / organization.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, such as technology vendors. Manage relationships with technology vendors & Value streams for delivering digital solutions.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech (Software, IT, Electronics/Electrical)
• Data Scientist Program - Data Scientist Masters Program from a recognized university
• Minimum 2.5 years work experience in relevant field.
• Advanced coding knowledge on languages: C, C++, R, Python, Java
• Competent knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc
• Experience in visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders: Power BI, Tableau, Power Point.

• In depth Knowledge in Statistics, Hypothesis development and testing
