Data Analyst

What You’ll Do

• Apply strong expertise in SQL to generate reporting and data validation queries
• Support sales and marketing teams with data insights and reports
• Apply python skills to develop code for data transformations and feature supports
• Interface with engineers, engagement managers & operations team to understand data needs and build visualizations
• Define clients’ data specifications and serve in client-facing role regarding data requirements and analysis outcomes
• Own client data file validation, troubleshooting and ingestion
• Work both with our platform and third-party tools (e.g., AWS Quicksight, Tableau, etc) to build & maintain user-friendly dashboards reporting on internal and client-facing key metrics, including automated alerting and notifications
• Apply statistical knowledge to analyze outcomes and business-relevant patterns in the data
• Develop tools for validating and error-checking client data
• Learn to write well documented code for use in existing products
• Translate data and analysis into stories that help drive informed and strategic decisions across the organization

Requirements

• B.S. degree with 2-3 yrs experience or M.S. degree. Degree in data science, statistics or related field
• Strong SQL coding skills
• Knowledge of SalesForce and major marketing /sales platforms
• Experience building Data Visualizations via a business Intelligence tool
• Experience in Python
• Ability to appropriately select and apply a variety of statistical methods to analyze data and draw conclusions
• Experience integrating data from multiple systems
• Knowledgeable of typical sales & marketing metrics; key considerations in utilizing sales metrics & forecasting revenue
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences and to effectively collaborate within cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills
• Sincere passion for the mission of Motimatic

Preferred

• MS Degree in related field
• Experience with ETL tools
• Working knowledge of data warehousing principles
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Salesforce
• Experience working with dirty customer data
• Some experience with machine learning including classification algorithms
