You love to communicate and enable others to go beyond the ordinary? Then this role is for you.

Then this is your chance to become part of our team. We’re looking for a talented and experienced data architect, who wants to bring our data driven setups to the next level and act as an ambassador throughout our organization.

We, as Media Technology & IT department, are responsible for all media technology within the Red Bull Media House. We operate over a hundred different applications and tools; from our self-developed media platform to one of the most technically advanced TV studios in Europe.

Job Description

DATA & ARCHITECTURE

With your passion for (big) data and data architectures you’ll collaborate closely with team members turning business needs into a proper and sustainable setup fulfilling our growing analytics demands in media business.

 

ENABLEMENT & GOVERNANCE

In this exciting role you’ll also support others by establishing best practices, patterns, tools, and guidelines to be able to create a (big) data architecture/mesh setup across our organization.

 

TEAM & COLLABORATION

Last but not least, you'll be a strong & communicative member of our department to drive our data journey by building (big) data setups and architectures as well as inspiring other team members to think and evolve into this direction. 

Qualifications

Design or media technology focused education or equivalent work experience

Fluent in English, German is a plus

Passionate about data, data modelling and data driven decisions

Strong experience with Big data technologies and approaches managing large datasets

Good communication and organization skills

Proficiency with data modelling and engineering, Big Data, ETL/ELT, SQL, DDD

Persistent, systemic and analytical thinking with an attention to detail

Familiar with Google Analytics as well as Data compliance and governance (GDPR)

Knowledge about visualization tools (PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, …) for data representation

Additional Information

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2.229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
