This Data Operations Analyst role breaks the standard mold, giving you the chance to apply strategic ingenuity and innovation to the search for meaningful, mission-critical insights. In this role you’ll collaborate closely with other analysts as well as leaders in the sales and operations organizations to devise meaningful data stories that will drive Teladoc Health’s client growth and retention. Through your analytical ingenuity we will enhance our ability to communicate the Teladoc Health value proposition. 

This team focuses on strategic, data-oriented projects across the enterprise.   This position plays a key role in defining and managing projects that are typically multifunctional in nature and may broadly impact the organization.  The job requires an understanding of the various Teladoc business units, data sources and pipelines, and how data science can drive success across the business units.    

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the current data science footprint across the enterprise and identify/prioritize opportunities and grow the DS impact.   

  • Lead the project management function for these projects, setting clear objectives, defining metrics to gauge success, and delivering on time. 

  • Work closely with various data science and other teams: assisting with initiatives related to running the business, making processes more efficient, and developing new initiatives to enhance the Teladoc platform.  

  • Analyze -related data to identify key insights that will help Sales, Marketing, Product and senior leadership meet performance goals. 

  • Capture, infer and anticipate business needs, prioritizing, scoping and advocating for data-related projects that will meet those needs.  

  • Identify opportunities to advance and optimize Teladoc Health’s data quality and analytic rigor.

Qualifications Expected for Position

  • Demonstrated ability to carry out a project vision with minimal supervision, and with critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity.  

  • Strong communicator demonstrating clarity, elegance and assurance.   

  • Strategic thinker, with a record of building strategies rooted in insight, data and best practices. 

  • Experience conceiving and building meaningful data visualizations which effectively communicate a story.  

  • A knack for leveraging data to gain a competitive advantage in sales, product development, brand management, and/or user experience. 

  • Both the analytical and business sense that enable you to solve real-life business problems with data.  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deliver. executive-level presentations that communicate strategy and vision.

  • A self-starter approach, as well as a passion for teamwork and collaboration. 

  • Strong program and project management skills, with keen attention to detail. 

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in a STEM field.

  • Sales and account management experience, or experience in Sales Support preferred. 

  • Experience working on digital products preferred. 

  • Experience in healthcare technology or other highly-regulated sales environments preferred. 

The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2024. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
