Internship Agricultural Data Analyst (m/f/d)

RESPONSIBILITIES

During your internship opportunity with a duration of 3-6 months, you will become acquainted with several tasks within our unit, giving you the chance to apply your theoretical knowledge in the daily business and gain hands-on experience. BASF xarvio Digital Farming is one of the world's leading groups in delivering digital agricultural solutions.

• In your new role, you analyze agricultural data using Python or R.
• You integrate on-site spatial data with remotely sensed satellite data from the field of crop production.
• You also combine different scripts into a smoothly running script, including code cleanup and documentation.
• In addition, you contribute new ideas on satellite bands or indices that can be useful in an agricultural context.
• Last but not least, you support the team in designing and refining data-driven agricultural solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• enrolled student in agricultural sciences or similar subjects
• sound experience in data and function modeling
• experience in data analysis and programming with Python or R
• extensive work experience, as well as international experience an advantage
• strong communicational skills in English
