Data Analytics Technical Project Manager

The Manager of Data & Analytics is responsible for overseeing the delivery of data analytics solutions using Data Services, Analytics, Data Governance, Data Science and AI.

The role involves working with a multi-disciplinary team of analytics geeks, data scientists, data engineers and solution architects to implement data analytics solutions that support business decision-making, improve customer insight and business performance.

The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and solutions, develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures, and manage a team of data and analytics consultants, and AI experts. This role stays current with advancements in technology and methods to bring innovation and disruption to clients.

The candidate must possess strong technical skills in data services, governance and analytics, excellent communication skills, and a track record of leading successful data-driven projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ability to interact with Data Analytics Practice Lead and Data Analytics COI leaders to understand project objectives and serve as an on-hands Project Manager in defining the best way to build and deliver the required solution

· Ability to create original concepts, be process oriented with experience in establishing standards, processes and methodologies for the delivery of Data Analytics solutions under a nearshore/offshore model

· Strong teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skills

· Comfortable making operational decisions, monitoring progress, and reporting results in a fast-paced growth environment

· Excellent presentations skills with the ability to communicate and persuade onsite team leaders and project owners as needed

· Stay current with Cloud advancements in data analytics to identify opportunities to apply new technologies to the business

· Ability to create goals and conduct project performance evaluations for the team

· Additional duties as assigned by the Data Analytics Practice Lead

Requirements

· 8+ years of experience in the delivery of data analytics solutions with a proven track record of leading successful data-driven projects

· 3+ years as Project Manager or Technical Lead in the delivery of Cloud based data analytics projects, Azure Synapse or Databricks a plus

· Strong technical skills in data services, conceptual architecture, data governance and analytics

· Understanding of how ML is applied in data analytics solutions, a plus

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work.

· effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

· Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

· Experience in cloud-based data analytics solutions from Azure or Databricks

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's/ or a Master’s degree from an accredited college/university required.
