We are looking for an Associate Healthcare Research and Data Analyst to join our Med tech Insights team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work on syndicated market research reports and custom project for medical device space. The team consists of 48 - 50 people and is reporting to the Director, Med tech Insights. We have great skill sets in market research and forecasting and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in data research & analysis and content generation.  

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

  • B.Tech/ Master’s degree (MA, MS in life sciences or MBA)/ Pharm D/ PHD
  • 0-2 years of relevant job experience 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including using pivot tables and advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP, effective data organization strategies etc.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team to produce high quality deliverables that require little rework.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Mature communicator capable of handling high-profile clients from Fortune 500 companies
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills

It would be great if you also had . . .  

  • Qualification or experience in life sciences will be preferred.
  • Well-developed expertise in market research methodologies or related job experience
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines.
  • Excellent creative problem-solving skills.
  • Business acumen that helps support sales success, ongoing improvements, and relationships with internal and external stakeholder.

What will you be doing in this role? 

  • Interviewing industry participants and related medical professionals
  • Searching Clarivate's proprietary in-house research repository/library for relevant data
  • Using financial, regulatory, and government documents to find key medical approval data.
  • Model and forecast medical and healthcare markets, including but not limited to:
  • Integrating highly disparate data points into a unified market model
  • Interpreting qualitative data into useable quantitative measures
  • Creating hypotheses on market and competitive dynamics based on primary and secondary data.
  • Using MS Excel and database programs to manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Forecasting markets based on expectations, new product developments, and other market disruptors.
  • Identifying data trends and outliers using time-series tables and graphs
  • Write and prepare comprehensive research reports.  

 About the Team   

The Med tech Insights team is an essential part of the broader Med tech team’s data-driven culture, and regularly contributes its subject matter expertise to other teams within the organization. 

Hours of Work  

45 working hours a week, 12:00AM – 09:00PM (IST) and this is a permanent role.

Location - Bangalore
