(SparkIT Program)

 

About the Opportunity:

 

SparkIT – A Bratislava based internship focusing on developing emerging talents across the Asset Management.

This unique experience offers students the opportunity to participate in an outstanding internship program, from September 2024 until June 2025 (mi. 20 hours a week) covering the IT technologies in Asset management and finance fields.

 

Come join the dynamic, fast paced world of a specialized financial services organization. With the support of IT experts, you'll apply cutting-edge technologies and tackle real life problems. You'll get to put your hands on portfolio optimization, robotics, and automation. You will have the chance to learn about private and public cloud and experience our tech transformation journey.

You will receive real experience and on-the-job training in your role and opportunities to work on projects developing end to end applications dealing with database, client side and server-side components and integration of applications along the value chain of Asset Management.

• Student at University (3rd year or above) and your field of study is in computer science, engineering, or information technology

• Eager to learn - new technologies, ways of work, business context.

• Curious about data and end-to-end data flow from its origin till final product.

 

Skills we are looking for:

 

• Understanding of SQL, any practical experience is welcome

• Moderate experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, JAVA)

• Some interest in business intelligence (Power BI, Tableau) – practical experience is welcome

• Knowledge of Cloud concepts is advantage (Azure, AWS, GCP etc.), Azure preferred

• Interest in GenAI, workflow automation, robotic process automation or other trending technologies is advantage

• Passion about data as well as data visualization

• Interest in finance/asset management

• English at advanced level
