Job Description

As one of our consultants, you’ll play a key role in both short-term and long-term engagements, at various stages of the project lifecycle. Our focus is to help our clients deliver a wide range of change programmes where transformation of data is at the core of their goals. You’ll help design, plan, and deliver tactical and strategic solutions for our clients. You’ll be responsible for owning key deliverables and will be expected to build strong relationships with your stakeholders and supporting teams. You’ll play a role in our social culture, embrace diversity, and promote wellbeing for you and your peers above all else. 

Qualifications

• Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Be able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions.
• Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications.
• Be experienced in tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX
• Have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design, and more
• Designing, building, maintaining, and mapping efficient data models to process raw data from unrelated sources. Identify and address bottlenecks and resource constraints.
• Understanding of ETL framework to design and refine process’, including handling data from multiple sources and dealing with complex data structures
• To design, develop, and deploy PowerBI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis.
• Design and create interactive, visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
• Use advanced features such as bookmarks, drill-through actions, and custom content to meet client expectations.
• Use DAX functions for statistical analysis and advanced calculations
• Ensuring data security and compliance using API Keys & Row Level Security (RLS)
• Troubleshooting and optimizing Power BI solutions and cataloguing the existing reports
• Experience using collaborative workspaces in PowerBI Service

Additional Information

Location: this role will be based in Dublin wih travel to the office 3 days per week.
