Job Description

We're searching for a Senior Analyst, Data Science who will be an important contributor within the core Data and Analytics (DNA) team. Data and Analytics is structured into four specialties: Data Intelligence, Data Strategy, Data Technology and Data Science. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Improve the speed of reporting by creating automated processes to consolidate data from many internal, vendor, and application specific sources
  • Applying data mining techniques, statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction models using languages such as Python, R, and SQL
  • Use a variety of tools to deliver rapid-response insights through data mining techniques
  • Improve and quality control for important deliverables
  • Independently troubleshoot and address quality control issues, generating reports and analysis that may require the merging of multiple data sets
  • Access sources including Google Analytics, Adobe Suite, Google Ad Words, and DFA to create customized reports and data pulls
  • Utilize Excel and visualization tools (Tableau/Datorama/PowerBI) to pull data into custom charts, tables, and to showcase the most critical series of actionable business metrics
  • Implement recommended data governance and quality processes inclusive data taxonomy and tagging standards
  • Collaborate with partners to advance data-driven scale and sophistication
  • Foster and contribute to a team environment

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, or related field.
  • Master's degree (preferred)
  • 1+ years of professional hands-on experience with predictive modeling, measurement, and advanced analytics (including segmentation techniques) using large datasets.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, JavaScript, manipulating large data tables and creating custom queries
  • Expertise within the digital environment and in aligning marketing strategies with business needs
  • Working knowledge of integrated marketing best practices
  • Exposure to mobile, social, tablet measurement approaches and understanding of role of attribution and paths to conversions
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to aggregate data from multiple sources
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital tagging, tracking, QA, and maintenance
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint is required
  • Working knowledge of the best data visualization, data manipulation and data storage solutions and product
