The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, databases, and data infrastructure to support our company's data needs.
Responsibilities:-Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and objectives.-Design and implement data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources.-Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency.-Optimize and fine-tune data storage and retrieval systems for performance and scalability.-Create and maintain data models, schemas, and databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.-Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.-Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to manage and maintain data infrastructure.-Automate data workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reliability.-Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.-Stay current with data engineering best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements:-Advanced/Fluent English.-Knowledge with SQL.-Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.-Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies, including ETL frameworks, database systems, and data -warehousing.-Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles.-Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (here we are using AWS).-Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.-Excellent communication and collaboration skillls.
