Compensation: USD $1800 - $3500/month (Salary based on assessment)

Job Description:
We are in search of a Power BI Developer with a minimum of 7 years of experience to enhance our vibrant team. As a crucial asset to our company, you will employ your extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining progressive business intelligence solutions. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in maximizing our data utilization and empowering us to make insightful, data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:
• Translate business requirements into comprehensive technical specifications.
Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools) with Power BI.
• Maintain and enhance data analytics platforms, including Power BI, to deliver actionable insights.
• Create compelling visualizations and reports tailored to the needs of various projects.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and ensure seamless data flow.
• Perform data analysis by executing complex database queries and conducting in-depth analyses.
• Develop and update technical documentation.
• Design and implement tools, such as OLAP cubes, to efficiently store and access data.
• Conduct thorough unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system functionality.
• Evaluate and enhance existing BI systems to improve performance, scalability, and user experience.

Requirements:

Must-haves:
• Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of industry experience, specifically using Power BI and other pertinent BI technologies.
• Profound knowledge in data warehouse design, including dimensional modeling, and competence in data mining techniques.
• Extensive familiarity with database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) frameworks.
• Proficiency in BI technologies such as Microsoft Power BI and Oracle BI, demonstrating an ability to leverage their features effectively.
• Exceptional skills in SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• A track record of innovative thinking, proactive initiative-taking, and creative problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional English language proficiency, both verbal and written.
• Availability and willingness to operate within the Central Standard Time (CST) timezone.

Nice-to-haves:
• Experience in the FinTech Industry is a plus.
