We make it easy for users to buy and sell digital collectibles through interactive experiences.The Market Intelligence Team is a collaborative hub inside of Strategic Finance at RECUR. It is responsible for developing analytical frameworks and predictive models that support critical research needed to shape our marketplace structure and offerings.

We work closely with the Product, Engineering, Gamification, and Licensing teams to build a comprehensive view of the ways our users transact RECUR NFTs on and off our platform.
What you will do at RECUR:
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends and cohorts of transactions
- Drive clear and relevant insights into the right KPIs and metrics to measure marketplace success
- Be the technical lead for identifying sources and uses of marketplace data
- Work cross-functionally to share learnings that drive RECUR’s product development forward
- Build predictive models to inform Finance, Creative, Product, and other teams
- Frame and distill complex customer behavior and micro/macro marketplace shifts
- Automate business intelligence across Strategic Finance to accelerate market responsiveness
- Be an example for data hygiene and analytical rigor for everyone at RECUR
- Become a trusted internal resource and contribute to RECUR’s business strategy
What you bring to RECUR:
- 5+ years of analytics and data science experience, with at least 3 years managing predictive analytics
- BA / BS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience working with large data sets, machine learning, and cloud software
- Experience building scalable and reliable data analytics frameworks for financial markets, ecommerce, or other transaction-based exchanges or marketplaces
- Experience building predictive models using Python, R, SQL, and other standard languages
- Experience developing QA/QC strategies to ensure data products are platform-ready
- Experience with data collection and A/B testing best practices
- Experience working in a highly collaborative, rapidly-scaling team or startup
- An interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and NFTs

Nice to haves:
- Background or advanced coursework in Economics
- Experience in a professional context with cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
- Masters-level degree or PhD in Data Science or related technical field
