The cloud-based e-learning platform offers tailor-made solutions, from creating whole e-learning websites to author online courses as well as providing the right tools to sell them on a B2B/B2C function. Today, LearnWorlds has c.9000 customers in more than 140 countries and our team is fully remote. However, we also offer the option of working from the office for those who want to mix things up. We have offices in Athens, Crete, and Limassol.

Role Purpose

Join our dynamic Business Intelligence team and contribute significantly to data-driven decision-making! As a data visualization expert, you will use your quantitative analysis skills to create and maintain interactive dashboards. Your key responsibility will be monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) across the organization to identify opportunities for process optimization. Through close collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams, you will ensure that reporting needs are met and that data is seamlessly integrated into business processes. Expect to employ your creativity in visually conveying persuasive arguments and stories to our important stakeholders.

Typical Tasks & Activities

  • Extracting and organizing business data efficiently to generate reports that meet the needs of our stakeholders.
  • Translating business requirements into clear technical specifications for the rest of the BI Team.
  • Actively monitoring and promptly notifying stakeholders of any deviations from key performance indicators.
  • Taking responsibility for the seamless operation of our Data Visualization platform.
  • Collaborating closely with the BI Data Engineer to optimize data flows and architecture to address analytical requirements.

Accountabilities

  • Follow industry best practices, including proper documentation and version control
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned projects
  • Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), identify any deviations from expected results, and provide valuable recommendations to Team Leaders for improvement, focus, and new innovative ideas
  • Actively engage in Team meetings to effectively contribute towards achieving the Team's KPIs and OKR goals
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the Analytics domain, encouraging collaboration and learning across teams

Requirements

Must-have

  • High competency in SQL.
  • A degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Data Science, or any adjacent field.
  • Greek speaking, native or near native and exceptional English.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a relevant position (Analyst, Data Engineer etc.).
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with emphasis on Statistics.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to convey complex ideas to people of all backgrounds.
  • Ability to tell an engaging data-driven story, using meaningful visualization.
  • Proven experience with any data visualization tool.
  • Ability to translate business needs to technical requirements.

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of SaaS metrics, marketing analytics and the recurring revenue business model.
  • Good knowledge of Python (pandas, plotly, matplotlib, bokeh etc.)
  • Experience with Git.
  • Working with databases.
  • Familiarity with a product analytics platform like Mixpanel, Amplitude, or GA4.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Advanced Excel use (macros, VBA, Power Pivots).
