What You’ll Do
- Lead, design, develop, and implement complex end-to-end signal processing pipelines, engineer features and disease models using data collected across the patient journey, from clinical trials to clinical encounters
- Perform technical, analytical, and clinical validation analyses and communicate results to thereapeutic communities of interest, sensor scienctist, machine learning experts and digital medicine practitioners.
- Support integration, design and development of novel sensor-based measurement solutions
- Act as an internal subject matter expert on emerging artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques applicable to biology and clinical operations
- Perform vendor oversight responsibilities on cross-functional collaborations in machine learning and AI methods development

You are passionate about exploring and establishing new methods for looking at data across devices, applications, data streams, and diseases. You love figuring out how to create mathematical and statistical models that relate human biology, clinical development, and sensor technology to business outcomes and patient needs.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- 8 or more years of pharma/biotech/tech industry experience, alternatively extensive experience in academic/clinical centers of excellence
- Expertise in the field of sensor-based signal processing leveraging state of the art methodologies, programming languages, and tools
- Experience in managing complex, interdisciplinary research, and development projects, especially in the fields of software and technology implementation
- Profound experience in data science, machine learning, and data engineering programming using python and higher-level libraries such as numpy, pandas, scipy, statsmodels, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, matplotlib, Plotly, or similar
Preferred Skills
- Experienced in communicating and building consensus on difficult or sensitive information with technology and business teams
- Background or familiarity in the use of digital health technology for measuring disease outcomes
- Knowledge and experience of additional statistical and software engineering tools, e.g., R, Shiny, Dash, Rust, Spark

As the Lead Machine Learning Scientist you will explore and establish new methods for looking at data across devices, applications, data streams, and diseases. You will create mathematical and statistical models that relate human biology, clinical development, and sensor technology to business outcomes and patient needs.
For the ideal candidate we can place this position within the remote United States, or in a hybrid nature at our Cambridge, MA USA or Baar, Switzerland campuses.
