Research Engineer I (Network Engineer)

The School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) invites applications for the position of Research Engineer I in Network Engineering to work on a project related to Smart Nation IoT-system Threat Analytics.

The role entails the responsibility of designing network architecture for IoT systems and honeynets, managing IoT systems and honeynets for threat analytics, and reporting related to IoT systems. The job also requires conducting research, preparing reports and publishing papers.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Research and development on IoT threat detection and prioritization.

• Design of network architecture for IoT systems and honeynets.

• Management of IoT networks and honeynet for threat analytics.

• Conducting research, preparing reports and/or publishing papers.

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: computer science, computer engineering, information or communication science/engineering or any other relevant field.

• Familiarity with IP networks, honeynets, and network security.

• Knowledge or interest in cybersecurity, IoT, Linux, or virtualization clusters is a plus.
