AI Software Engineer - Generative AI

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced AI Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of applied generative AI research at Blue Yonder. The focus of this role is in developing cutting edge techniques for working with large language models to meet the specific needs of our end users including both paying customers and internal customers.

As a key player in the Blue Yonder AI Innovation Studio, you will work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of Generative AI and machine learning in the supply chain and retail domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data science, machine learning, and be comfortable with software engineering.

What you will do:

• Rapid prototyping of AI Products : Use the latest techniques in AI, LLMs, and flow engineering. Propose and implement innovative approaches to build the future of generative AI in the supply chain.

• Product Focused Engineering: Commitment to shipping products that will create value by solving real problems for customers.

• Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy customized AI solutions that integrate seamlessly with customer systems.

• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor model performance, making adjustments as necessary to maintain and improve output quality.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and customer engagement teams to understand client needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of experiments & prototypes. Prepare reports on stack performance, insights, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of industry experience

• Strong programming skills and ability to work with the full stack.

• Previously shipped products integrated with LLMs, RAG systems, and/or AI agents.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

• Passion for AI innovation and commitment to staying informed about the latest industry trends and technologies.
