About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Senior Data Integration Engineer who wants to:

• Design & Develop ETL Processes: Architect and implement efficient and scalable ETL pipelines using legacy and modern cloud data integration tools.
• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of ETL engineers, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.
• Data Architecture: Collaborate with data architects to design data models and ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across systems.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and flat files, to create unified data sets for analysis and reporting.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize ETL processes for performance and resource utilization, ensuring timely data processing and delivery.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Document ETL processes and best practices to maintain knowledge transfer and facilitate training for team members.
• Planning & Estimating: Plan and manage ETL projects, including resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables, while ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve data-related issues and support production environments to maintain data availability and reliability.

About You

You’ll bring extensive data integration experience gained through a combination of industry and consulting roles. You will be comfortable developing and strengthening peer-to-peer level relationships at all levels with our clients.

Ideally, you will have:

• Extensive experience in data engineering, ETL development, or a similar role, with a focus on Microsoft or Informatica.
• Proficient in Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Solutions, SQL Server, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and other Informatica or Microsoft data tools.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring teams of data engineers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong planning and estimation skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Informatica or Microsoft certifications related to data engineering, data science, or cloud technologies.
• Experience working with Informatica Intelligent Cloud (IICS), Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other related services.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and tools.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
