You will join the Order Management & Planning product cluster within Supply Chain Digital at Volvo Cars. This product cluster delivers digital solutions that improve stability and consistency in the production plan, which will enable us to provide shorter and more accurate lead times to our customers. The Product

Volvo Cars is fully committed to enhancing supply chain visibility as a foundation for improved planning and execution. In the pursuit of this vision Volvo Cars has chosen Kinaxis RapidResponse as the bedrock for our transformation journey. Presently, we’re in the process of forming a product team that will assume a pivotal role in implementing and managing this solution.
 

Main responsibilities

As a developer, you create maximum value together with the digital product team and will work close with the product owner. Work will priorities in the backlog from a business perspective to streamline the execution.

You will have to adapt to the dynamic needs of the business and ensure the Advanced Planning Solution (APS) is positioned to drive optimal business value. You will be part of emphasizing the short- and long-term vision of the product to the team and relevant stakeholders.

Together with the team you will be part of backlog refinement to achieve minimum handover and maximum joint understanding as well as understanding the scope of the upcoming enabler work. Also interact with architects and other relevant areas within the company to get information about the key technological infrastructures. You will also be responsible for:

•            Supporting the implementation of RapidResponse during the configuration phases

•            Hypercare post go-live (relates to what you’ve included in taking over and managing the tool)

•            Continuous improvement through business requests (relates to backlog post go live)

•            Improvement to configuration to boost performance and efficiency (finding better ways of configuration  to tool post go live)

•            Managing regression testing with routine software updates

•            End-user defect & bug resolution

Do you fit the profile

You are experienced developer with big interest in technologies. You have 10+ years working experience and have worked with implementation of modern APS SaaS solutions, preferably Kinaxis RapidResponse, as well as operations in a product landscape with high demands on stability. 
 

You are good at communication, presentations and relationship building with the team and global stakeholders.
You can communicate in the English language both verbally and in writing.

Required competences are Supply Chain Management, Planning & Purchasing, SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, E2Open & Coupa.
