Data Analyst 2 (1749)

Up from three at the start of the year, today we support nine exciting brands: Biossance, Pipette, Costa Brazil, Purecane, OLIKA, Terasana, Rose, Inc., JVN Hair, and EcoFabulous (see: https://amyris.com/brands).We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the growing Amyris Digital team.  Reporting to the VP of Data this person will help the company better understand its customers and product lines from a data focus.  We are looking for someone to set standards and build out best practices that can be used across all current and future brands.

Responsibilities:

• Create analytical answers and solutions to stakeholder questions
• Assemble and munge data sets across multiple sources and systems
• Mapping and building out:  KPIs, Analytics, Reports, Dashboards, and Warehouses
• Manage data:  cleaning, mapping, mastering, deduping, and QA
• Identify and update systems and reports due to changes in data or requirements 
• Present solutions and findings to stakeholders at all levels within the company
• Create and update internal system documentation 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM field, or similar experience 
• 2+ years of building out Analytic systems and solutions
• Experience in defining and building out: KPIs, Analytics, Reporting, Dashboards
• Experience using SQL to collect data for analysis
• Experience in creating well thought out data models
• Experience working within Salesforce, Domo, or other modern Analytic platforms
• Ability to discuss projects and solutions with all members of the company

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or Masters/PhD. in a technical field
• 4+ of building out Analytic systems and solutions
• Experience working with ‘big data’ and associated systems
• Experience with a programming language beyond SQL (Java, Python, C++, etc.) 
• Experience working with one of the large public cloud providers:  AWS, GCC, or Azure
• Familiar with Data Science solutions
