Data Engineer

What You’ll Do as a Data Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining data pipelines and processes to feed the data needs of the business. You will work with application engineers and data analysts to determine their data needs, and synthesize plans and processes to make it all happen.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of data engineering experience
• BS or MS in… (or equivalent work experience)
  • Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics (or similar) preferred
• Advanced SQL
• Strong algorithmic knowledge
• Proficiency in Python and Spark/PySpark
• Design and build ETL/ELT systems
• Deep experience with a data warehouse/data lake solution
• Experience with sharded/distributed systems

Nice to Have

• Kafka (specifically Kafka Connect and Debezium)
• Spark/PySpark
