The Agoda Beds Network team is a brand new department within Agoda focusing on improving Agoda’s supply quality and inventory. As our accommodation partners are a key to our success, we work hard to ensure their success. That is why the Agoda Beds Network team specializes in strategic account management. We serve as consultants and thought partners, offering strategic advice on how best to excel on Agoda’s commercial platforms through innovative solutions.  The Opportunity:

As the Senior Data Analyst, your main objective will be to lead the analysis and data required to identify opportunities for optimization for our hotel partners to grow on the Agoda platform. Your role is also to use data to provide transparency and efficiency to the Business Development teams on the ground to guide them in growing the business. You will be instrumental in ensuring there is consistency in data being used for reporting, identifying value added data to help the business grow as well as setting up alerts or notifications for quick responses from our Business Development teams. This role will enable you to understand the detailed commercial partnerships we have with our property partners with an end to end overview of performance

In this Role, you’ll get to:

• Work closely across multiple departments within Agoda
• Own the data analysis, reporting, create forecasting models, and track performance
• Hands on opportunity to resolve problems and identify opportunities for growth
• Hone deep commercial understanding on how Agoda works with its hotel partners
• Devise and implement strategies that grow Agoda’s supply footprint
• Develop new tools and process that contribute to greater productivity and efficiency
• Hone your analytical skills in better understanding business and conversion drivers and how to optimize them
• Prepare and present high quality weekly reports including sharing best practices
• Work in a data-driven environment
• Use out-of-the-box thinking to develop and implement solutions to unique challenges 

What you’ll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in any relevant field
• Strong numerical & analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with technical languages and dashboard building (SQL, Tableau, Metabase, Python)
• Minimum three year’s experience in analytical fields, experience in the hotel or travel industry is preferred but not necessary
• Detail oriented and structured thinking in identifying opportunities
• Meticulous project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills & ability to influence external / internal stakeholders bridging the communication gap from technical to commercial stakeholders
• Comfortable in two-way feedback culture
• Adapts well to and is energized by change
• Written and spoken proficiency in local language
