Our newly formed data team is here to build up and serve a best in class data platform to the whole company. This is a greenfield project so you will be able to play your part in key decisions and our strategy from the outset.

What you’ll do 👀

Working closely with the rest of the data team and the wider company you will be part of a team ensuring the constant availability of clean, usable data and data services. We’ve got an established team with whom you’ll be able to learn from and further develop your data engineering skill set while having real business impact from day one.

You should apply if ✅

• You are fluent in at least one object oriented programming language.
• If the above language is not python then we’re also looking for some familiarity with python.
• You are familiar with databases and data structures.
• You have basic SQL knowledge.
• You have the ability to work under pressure. We’re a fast paced startup and you’ll be working on many different things from day to day.
• You have strong communication skills.

It would be great if you also have: 

• Cloud experience (we use GCP).
• Familiarity with streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Familiarity with Airflow or other orchestration tools.
• Experience with data related python libraries.
• Experience writing code within a multi-developer project, so tested code, GIT etc.
• Experience working within an agile environment.
• Experience working in a startup,
• Experience within crypto and/or fintech or a keen interest in our industry.

Our interview process takes place on Google Hangouts and consists of the following stages:

• Initial screen (30-45 minutes)
• Remote take-home task 
• Final interviews (2-3 hours)
