As our new Senior Data Analyst in the Transactional Experience domain you will be working in a cross-functional product team supporting it with strategic analysis and insights. Transactional Experience domain is responsible for the overall flow which takes a user from being interested in buying/selling to a successful purchase/sale. You would be working in a newly forming team that will establish and centrally own product strategy for escrow value proposition at Vinted. 
To be successful in this role you’ll need to have strong business acumen, as well as excellent analytical, statistical, and organisational skills. We’re looking for someone who can build data driven business cases, is able to contribute significantly in defining strategic direction, estimate the value of potential improvement opportunities, likes to work in a fast-changing environment, and is passionate about the product we’re building together.

In this position, you will:

  • Actively participate in establishing a product strategy for escrow value proposition at Vinted. 
  • Collaborate with the team by providing data insights and identifying business opportunities.
  • Build business cases in order to understand the financial impact of the opportunities that are being investigated and propose an optimal solution.
  • Make sure data-driven decision making is applied for product changes, improvements and strategic direction.
  • Define and track KPIs to monitor performance within the ownership area of the team.
  • Be able to evaluate the impact of certain product changes, prepare, run and analyze A/B tests. Participate in the final decision making based on the A/B test results. 

About you:

  • A degree in Statistics, econometrics, economics, finance, business or a similar field
  • 3+ years of analytical / BI work experience
  • Scripting experience (e.g. SQL) and experience with dashboarding tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, etc.)
  • Able to extract, transform and interpret data
  • Keen on collecting and sharing business insights with your team/company
  • A good communicator who can present results in an informative and persuasive manner
  • Excellent at communicating in written and spoken English
  • Attention to detail
  • Advantage: Experience in accounting / finance, building business cases

We now use a hybrid workplace model at Vinted. This means that you’ll spend Tuesdays and Wednesdays working from the office, and for the remainder of your time, you’ll be able to choose between either working from home or the office. 
The salary range for this position is 3,700–5,550 € (gross) per month.
