Who you are:
We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Data Analyst (Supply Chain) who will provide value-add analysis, including trends, comparatives and interpretation of supply chain reporting and KPAs, together with recommended actions to improve performance. This position works with large quantities of data to identify trends and develop forecasts, create specialized reporting, conduct quantitative product and supply chain analysis, provide support for internal and partner promotions, and assess future needs and data integrity. What you’ll do:
As a Data Analyst (Supply Chain) your key area of responsibility will be analyzing supply chain data. You will collect, analyze, evaluate and report data in order to increase supply chain productivity. You will be responsible to proactively analyze supply chain data and report on key findings to supply chain leadership. You will need to work closely with Geotab’s Supply Chain teams. To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills. You will be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Analyze supply chain data.
  • Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data in order to increase supply chain productivity.
  • Collect supply chain records and trends and evaluate performance measured against supply chain targets.
  • Report and provide analysis for the supply chain Operations, including: executive reporting of supply chain results, key metrics and KPAs, data tracking and analysis, and ad-hoc strategic analysis.
  • Proactively analyze supply chain data and reports on key findings to supply chain leadership.
  • Continuously improve the generation and presentation of supply chain reporting and KPAs on a consistent and efficient basis across the business and ensure reliable and accurate data sources meet supply chain reporting needs.
  • Leverage existing database and governance rules.
  • Standardize supply chain performance reports.
  • Regularly prepare reports on general supply chain trends and presentations for executives and other company leaders.
  • Implement and manage reports, presentations and dashboards insupply chain software programs. 
  • Communicate results to key stakeholders in order to support informed business decisions by providing in-depth analysis and recommendations.
  • Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.

What you’ll bring to this role:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or a role handling a database with large datasets.
  • Diploma/Degree specialization in Accounting, Finance, Business, Marketing or a related field highly valued.
  • Advanced computer skills with knowledge of additional databases. 
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis software.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to write macros and use pivot tables. 
  • Familiar with data warehousing, data mining, and data mapping.
  • Experience working within a technical or engineering organization with knowledge of the high-technology industry considered is an asset.
  • High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve to well-judged decisions.
  • Strong team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Technical competence using software programs, including  but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
