We are looking for an entrepreneurial member with passion, fresh ideas, and eagerness to accelerate the design, development, implementation, testing, and operation of large-scale and high-performing data solutions. As Principal Data Analytics Engineer you will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, sales, operations, and many engineering squads to develop tools and data products that elevate the data-driven strategies. You will exhibit technical acumen with a passion for making an impact through delivering best-in-class data, analytics, and data science products.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and build high quality data management solutions to support analytics operations
  • Architect and build data pipelines to improve operational efficiency and data integrity
  • Architect and manage the BI infrastructure 
  • Partner with other engineering teams to enable the exchange of data and data science assets 
  • Design and build a streamlined internal machine learning platform to deliver insights and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to enhance analytics and data science operations

Your Minimum Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or a related field 
  • 7+ years of industry experience as a Data Engineer or related specialty (e.g., Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Scientist), working with large datasets 
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in writing complex and optimized queries to manipulate structured and unstructured datasets
  • Rich experience in building and managing data warehouses, relational databases and data pipelines
  • Prefer deep experience with Snowflake and AWS 
  • Skilled with at least one of the high level programming languages (e.g., Python, Javascript, Java)
  • Experience defining data engineering roadmaps and delivering projects on schedule
  • Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers in the data engineering space
