We are looking to add a Data Engineer to our Rulebooks team to help us integrate our work on scenarios and AV behavior assessment into existing in-house software tools.

What you'll do:

    • Integrate our prototype tool for AV behavior assessment with our in-house simulation infrastructure
    • Automate the process of translating abstract driving scenarios into concrete scenarios that are executable in a simulation tool

What you'll bring:

    • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
    • 2+ years professional experience in data or computer engineering 
    • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
    • A collaborative work attitude and commitment to high quality work products

Bonus points for having experience with

    • Experience with automotive simulation tools like Carla
    • Experience working with Docker and virtual machine deployment
    • Experience with Unity or similar graphical programming languages
    • Experience writing production-level code
    • Knowledge of highly automated vehicle architecture, robotics, and data science
