Founding Data Scientist, Special Projects

Your focus will be the "brain" of our self-learning CRM system, inspired by research in RL and NLP. You need to understand the core ideas in learning, statistics and optimization to be successful at the job.
Our backend stack is a set of multi-threaded python (Flask and Django) apps hosted on GCP and AWS that talk to Postgres, BigQuery and various SaaS APIs. The front end is in plain JS.
You need to have a founder mentality and ability to reduce complex problems to simple practical solutions. First-principles thinkers from Stanford, Princeton and MIT around you will support (and challenge!) you along the way.

Base Qualifications

• raw smarts
• 2+ years of work experience with backend (python/go)
• 2+ years of practical data science (sklearn or equivalent)
• Experience with NLP/RL is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and own data pipelines for unstructured data streams
• Develop and deploy models to production
• Define the DS roadmap
