Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Python
- Background in developing automated data engineering solutions in a cloud-computing context (using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm), understanding the infrastructure and deployments
- Proven track-record working with ETL tools such as: SQL, PySpark, Argo Workflows
- Proficiency in integrating data processing pipeline
- Competency in agile methodology (scrum or Kanban) and in using Jira and GIT
Nice to have:
- Proficiency in bitbucket and bitbucket pipelines
- Skills in healthcare data/analytics domain
English level:
Upper-Intermediate
Responsibilities:
- Build products to process sensitive healthcare data, automatically and on a high frequency
- Designing and implementing an infrastructure for automated provision of clean and accurate (large) datasets for downstream analytics
- Design and develop enhancements and new features for existing data science processing pipelines, repositories, and microservices
- Applying and setting software engineering best practices for analytics, such as version control, testing and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other data engineers on data analytics projects and support them with data-related technical issues
- Acting as owner and specialist of critical data processing steps and/or product features from data engineering perspective, ensuring smooth cooperation with other teams
- Proactively contribute to innovation and identify, design, and implement internal process improvements
- Be part of our analytics team, that focuses on implementing an advanced data processing and analytics framework
- Coaching your colleagues in the analytics team, to help them improve their capability to continuously enhance the quality of their work (e.g. programming & process knowledge, cooperation with teams)
