Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Overall responsibility for identifying and documenting operational business requirements and processes, including providing clarification on any requirement discrepancies.- Perform all internal reporting needs of the department.- Understand departmental business problems and opportunities and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.- Extracts, tabulates, and analyzes data to support program activity and assists in Management decision making.- Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to new processes, functionality, and/or proposed solutions within the department.- Identify, analyze, and communicate all system and process defects.- Identify innovative strategies to create operational and/or system efficiencies.- Work closely with business owners, Operations, users, and systems staff to improve business efficiency.- Work effectively with internal and external business partners in the delivery of solutions.- Provide production support for Operations.
Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Ability to successfully prioritize and execute many complex tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Strong analytical/statistical skills.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and accurately.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Education and Experience Requirements
Additional Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct training on various back office tasks.
Minimum Requirements have been updated to the following:
- Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Ability to successfully prioritize and execute many complex tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Strong analytical/statistical skills.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and accurately.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Additional Requirements as per contract/client:
- Must reside in the U.S.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must not be delinquent or in default on any federal student loans.
- Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance. Final suitability determination is the sole discretion of the Department of Education.
Home Office Requirements:
- Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection, no WIFI

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
