Are you ready to drive SMG's advertising business forward?
We are looking for you, an experienced specialist who will continuously develop our ad-tech-data-infrastructure, our data-management to monetize our inventory and lead all relevant business reports in strong cooperation with internal and external partners.

Your tasks:

  • Further development of our advertising data-monetization strategy to ensure our growth ambitions, in close cooperation with product managers
  • Further development of our user data and live targeting management, in close cooperation with the whole advertising team, our SMG Group Data- and Group Marketing Management and also in close cooperation with our strategic partners in Switzerland and internationally
  • Implementation of a state-of-the-art advertising data-technology stack in interaction with CDP/CRM/order management/billing systems, in close cooperation with front- and back-end developers
  • Further development of our advertising reporting strategy with selected technologies (e.g.) Adverity, Bigquery, Lookerstudio) and with automated dashboards/monitorings to ensure a data-normalized BI-analytic. Support of the whole advertising team in respect of all requirements
  • Improvement of performance-related KPI's

Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship as mediamatician or information technologist
  • University, University of Applied Sciences (FH) or equivalent degree in Data Management or similar
  • Experienced in working with ad-tech-data-management services – DMP, CDP, Google Cloud Platform
  • Experienced and/or good understanding of program languages/coding/API e.g. SQL/BigQuery, Cloud Functions & Cloud Scheduler, Python or R/RStudio, basics web developments (Javascript, HTML), understanding of how to use developer web console, also a good understanding of databases and database systems, especially for reporting topics. Understanding of ETL processes (extract, transform, load)
  • Fundamental understanding of web tracking (tracking pixel, identifier, cookies) & targetings and data visualization tools like Tableau, profound knowledge in using Excel, ideally experiences in Looker/Looker Studio and knowledge of Adverity
  • Experienced in project management
  • Team player, high level of self-dependence and self-organization and good communication skills
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)

We live a hybrid working model. You are invited to use our new office in Zurich, in Flamatt (near Bern) or work from your home base anywhere in Switzerland.
