EquipmentShare is searching for a Senior Financial Data Analyst for the corporate office in Columbia, Missouri to help us drive profitability through data-driven analysis.

We’re seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst who loves a challenge and wants the opportunity to grow with a fast-paced company. Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs quantitative analysis of operational and financial data
  • Utilizes data to find  process improvements, develop best business practices or other create data-backed solutions
  • Builds and/or maintains a corporate financial model that details the entire company’s operations and projects future performance
  • Review profit and loss reports, analyze budget variances, and present findings to senior level management
  • Identify, develop, and help implement cost-saving and profit-driving strategies across the company
  • Play an integral role in the budget and forecasting process
  • Identify trends, correlations and patterns in data, and present findings to stakeholders

Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 2-5 years of experience in an analysis-focused role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Finance or related field
  • Strong knowledge of financial data: financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis experience, a keen understanding of financial statements, financial data, and budget performance analysis
  • Ability to swiftly extract key insights from data
  • Expert-level Excel skills
  • Applied SQL experience in a professional environment
  • Preferred Knowledge of an analytical language like Python, R, SAS, SPSS, etc.
  • You have a proven ability to approach complex problems with curiosity and an analytical mindset
