About the role

As the Senior Manager, Data Engineering, you will be responsible for leading a development team that is responsible for building, deploying and supporting key components of a system of record for a corporate data warehouse. You will be responsible for automation of financial business processes, ensuring accuracy, audit controls and completeness of data for financial and operational reporting and analysis. You will be responsible for creating a data driven culture across the enterprise and partnering with multiple business teams to enable their business intelligence and strategic data needs. In this role, you will lead a global team of analysts and engineers, and help towards maturing our data and analytics capabilities.  Prior experience with a full implementation lifecycle of Snowflake from selection to implementation is desirable.

In this role you can expect to

  • Develop and deliver against a strategic vision for corporate data warehouse and broader data needs
  • Design & implement the Corporate Data Warehouse using Snowflake
  • Develop and deploy a data system of record consisting of key financial, backend office and GTM systems
  • Establish & enforce enterprise BI standards and policies
  • Partner with our Security team to ensure the Corporate Data Warehouse follows best practices in security & data governance 
  • Builds relationships as a trusted business partner with key business executives and serves as a focal point for delivery of IT services for data and analytics
  • Collaborates with other data/reporting groups across the divisions to improve and standardize consumption of data and analytics
  • Maintain and continuously build an in-depth understanding of current business and technological trends for data management and translates into meaningful action to mature service offerings
  • Supporting the overall architecture and approach for reporting and analytics
  • Scale data architecture to support massive growth, high performance, and usability
  • Evangelize high quality development practices towards developing data infrastructure and pipelines at scale

You may be a good fit for our team if you have

  • 8+ years  experience with relevant data engineering, transformation and data warehouse experience
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and or RedShift
  • Business Intelligence reporting and analytical tools (Tableau, Looker)
  • Proven track record in building and leading data engineering teams
  • Solid understanding of the modern cloud data warehousing end-to-end development life cycle
  • Successful track record designing, developing, and executing critical complex projects in more than one area of functional expertise
  • Experience implementing data governance, master data management, data quality, and data retention programs at an enterprise level
  • Strong communication (verbal/written) communication and presentation skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, results oriented environment, and have worked within the structure of a large organization
  • Ability to work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment and a strong sense of accountability as well as a proven track record of driving results through indirect influence and delivering results.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities including ad hoc requests.
  • Commitment to excellence in delivery of customer service.
