SummaryThe Automation team is looking for is looking for a data engineer to help expand our internal data analytics and machine learning infrastructure at ION group. You would be responsible for developing and supporting integration with systems to ingest new datasets, ETL/ELT pipelines, data models for BI dashboards and machine learning automation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can pick up new skills easily (we will train), with great attention to detail and a love of data and automation!
Team's Strategic ObjectivesOur objective is to promote a strong data culture within ION Group and to provide staff the resources and tools they need to use data to its full effect. We provide new standardized and discoverable datasets, Business Intelligence (BI) tools for self-serve dashboards to uncover deeper actionable insights, as well as a state-of-the-art toolkit for machine learning automation. Hard Skills RequiredPython, SQL, data modelling and transformation, API development. Any of the following would be a bonus: Azure, Databricks, Power BI, DAX, machine learning classification, NLP.
