Hi, we’re CompanyCam.

We create simple-to-use, visual-first communication and accountability tools for contractors. Imagine a B2B SaaS (business-to-business software-as-a-service) app that doesn’t look like garbage, built by a team of capable, laid-back people.

But don’t let the chill throw you off; we’re a fast-growing, product-led startup with big plans for the future.

The Role

We’re looking for a technically-savvy Financial Data Analyst to join our Finance team, reporting to the Director of FP&A. This role offers applicants a unique opportunity to get a foot in the door of a growing SaaS company, to learn and grow as a Finance professional, and to take ownership of the “Analysis” in “FP&A”.

In this Job You Will...

  • Understand and report on performance metrics related to Marketing, Sales, Retention, and other business areas
  • Work with large volumes of complex data to uncover insights and key drivers of performance and variances to financial plans
  • Develop, evaluate, and automate financial models to help monitor and drive strategic business decisions and identify opportunities to optimize performance
  • Conduct exploratory analyses to identify business opportunities or review the effectiveness of new business initiatives
  • Support and collaborate with business partners in the creation and evaluation of business cases, goals, and strategic initiatives
  • Assist in the creation of management reporting packages
  • Participate in the preparation and compilation of the annual operating plan (AOP), quarterly plan refreshes, and monthly forecast updates
  • Support Finance and the CEO in preparing for any future fundraising events and M&A activities

You MUST...

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting, or other degree supplemented with a Finance focus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - I know, right? But really need a person who is proficient and comfortable with advanced functions
  • Analytical mindset and desire to learn and grow
  • Strong quantitative skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Located in or near Lincoln, NE

It'd be NICE if you...

  • Have prior experience in financial modeling
  • 1-3 years of relevant Finance or Data Analysis experience
  • Experience working for a SaaS company - BIG nice-to-have
  • Proficiency in analytical programming languages like Python or R
  • Experience with SQL or other databases
