Main Responsibilities

  • Use data & analytics (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive) to enrich reporting with more powerful insights and improve forecasting with data-driven recommendations
  • Leverage new & existing data sources to develop actionable, insightful, and dynamic dashboards & visualizations
  • Work with engineering to ensure proper understanding and documentation of data
  • Assists with deep data sets analysis for operations and management decisions
  • Create, maintain, and optimize reports including SQL statements, views, functions, and stored procedures
  • Synthesize large, complex data sets into impactful insights and build analytical stories that shape the operations roadmap and culminate in strategic business decisions
  • Forecast trends based on previous data
  • Work with product management teams to process client’s requests and help translate this feedback into product requirements

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Data Management, Marketing, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, a related field, minimum 4+ years’ experience working on business analytics projects (preferred)
  • Experience working with large data sets and strong practical knowledge of analytical techniques
  • Deep knowledge of a variety of data sources, including customer, transaction, marketing, and digital
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, market research, segmentation and data modeling
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a bias for action, integrity, and accountability
  • Experience with machine learning tools (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Strong teamwork and client service orientation
  • Organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in a timely manner
  • Experience managing FMCG brands data
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
  • Strong knowledge building dashboards on Data studio or Power BI
  • Strong SQL skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken)

Desired Requirements

  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, or other programming language)
