Senior Data Engineer

JOB DUTIES:
WORK WITHIN THE DATA ENGINEERING TEAM TO BUILD DATA SOLUTIONS, APPLICATIONS AND MICROSERVICES THAT DIRECTLY IMPACT AND INFLUENCE ATLASSIAN KEY BUSINESS DECISIONS AND PERFORMANCE INDICATORS. BUILD AND DESIGN ENGINEERING FLOWS THAT SCALE AND ADHERE TO BEST PRACTICES WITHIN THE DATA ENGINEERING INDUSTRY. BUILD AND MAINTAIN BATCH EXTRACT TRANSFORM LOAD (ETL) AND STREAMING DATA SOLUTIONS THAT ALLOW SEAMLESS ANALYSIS OF COMPANY DATA THAT IS RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY. PROVIDE ANALYSIS WORKING ON THE COMPANY’S PROPRIETARY REPORTING PLATFORMS AND DATA VISUALIZATION TOOLS. FUNCTION AS A DATA DOMAIN ADVANCED EXPERT PARTNERING WITH TECHNOLOGY TEAMS, ANALYTICAL TEAMS, AND DATA SCIENTISTS TO PROVIDE GUIDANCE AND TRAINING.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
MASTER’S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE OR RELATED FIELD PLUS 2 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE WITH SOLUTION BUILDING AND ARCHITECTING WITH PUBLIC CLOUD OFFERINGS SUCH AS AMAZON WEB SERVICES, REDSHIFT, S3, EMR/SPARK, PRESTO/ATHENA, SPARK AND HIVE.
ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS:
BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE OR RELATED FIELD PLUS 5 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE WITH SOLUTION BUILDING AND ARCHITECTING WITH PUBLIC CLOUD OFFERINGS SUCH AS AMAZON WEB SERVICES, REDSHIFT, S3, EMR/SPARK, PRESTO/ATHENA, SPARK AND HIVE.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
MUST PASS TECHNICAL INTERVIEW.
