SQL BI Developer

What you’ll do

• You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

• You will manage individual project priorities, deadlines and work you're doing

• You will collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and understand reporting needs.

• You have the ability to translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design

• You will need extensive understanding of BDD/TDD practices, code review and analysis techniques, and open source agile testing frameworks.

• Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries and data retrieval process

• Troubleshoot data issues related to source systems or data model

• You have experience in overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance

• You enjoy mentoring other engineers, having a voice in defining our challenging technical culture, and helping to build a fast-growing team 

What experience you need

• BS degree in Computer science  or equivalent job experience required

• 2-5 years’ experience in software development, experience working with Oracle BRM

• Knowledge in rating, billing, invoicing, collections, pricing modules of Oracle BRM

• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming

• Experience working with Relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL,stored procedures)

• Agile environments (e.g. Scrum, XP)

• You can write very high quality code that is robust and easy to maintain

• You have experience in debugging, diagnosing, and trouble-shooting complex, production software

• You have detailed knowledge of modern software development lifecycles including CI / CD

• You have the ability to operate across a broad and complex business unit with multiple stakeholders

What could set you apart

• Experience in BI tools like Tableau, Looker.

• Experience working with GCP tools - Bigquery, Composer

• Atlassian tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket)

• Experience working in financial services
