Senior Data Scientist

o As a data scientist one needs to have experience and proven record of data analytics and data scientist methods in building analytical and probabilistic models

o Candidate should have experience in working with Agile methodology.

o Perform detailed analysis of equipment reliability, identifying gaps between current performance and business requirements and/or world class benchmarks, to identify and focus in specific reliability improvement activities that will deliver enhanced performance

o He should be flexible to adapt and learn new technologies as per the requirement of the project and upskill himself regularly.

o Experience on reliability and component lifetime modelling

o Experience on device IoT-data analytics

o Experience in data analytics and algorithm development using, e.g., Python, R, or Matlab

o Proven experience in software development

o Familiar with cloud platform development frameworks and knowledge of cloud services and architecture

o Experience from Agile ways of working, Devops

o Very good communication skills in English

o Benefit possible Elevator and escalator industry domain knowledge and work experience.

o Strong analytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills

o Passion for great service / customer experience

o Candidate should be conversant with Generative AI tools and adapt to new technologies quickly

· Education & Experience:

o Bachelor or master’s degree in Information technology engineering or similar with strong statistical background

o 5-7 years of experience as a data scientist

· Technical skills:

o Strong knowledge in Statistics, Data Management, SQL, NoSQL, R and Python with experience in all the libraries suitable for data processing and analytics

o Candidate should have experience in Reliability field and methods like Life Data Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance, Availability, Maintainabilty, Residual Life, MTTF calculations , Survival Analysis

o Candidate should have experience in AWS or any other cloud service with strong background on AWS Cloud Formation, Data Pipeline, Kinesis, Kafka, Athena, Sagemaker etc. AWS ML Certification would be an added advantage.

o Familiar with cloud platform development frameworks and knowledge of cloud services and architecture

o DevOps/MLOps and agile ways of working experience

· Advantages:

o Experience with large scale automated decision making/analytics systems

o Experience with Spark, TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch, streaming analytics solutions in general, and other related solutions

o Should have strong knowledge in MLflow or any equivalent CI/CD ML pipelines, Experience with ML-Ops is an added advantage

o Strong analytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills

o Passion for great service / customer experience
