As a leader in the global analytics function in supply-chain, the individual will be accountable for data, systems, and strategy enabling supply-chain’s analytics needs.  This role will work closely with IT teams to ensure that enterprise data infrastructure and investments are aligned with supply chain goals and strategies.  He/she will maintain data platforms for experimental applications supporting ad hoc analysis and conceptual proof of value pilots.  This individual manages the roadmap for the integration of ongoing applications from experimental platforms into enterprise production systems.

What You Will Do:

• Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of solid and dotted line reports across multiple geographies

• Provide guidance and help set strategies relating to data and how it is used in analytics across supply-chain.

• Work with supply chain and IT teams to ensure that the supply chain data infrastructure meets the needs of all users

• Partner on the development and implementation of analytics solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain

• Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects that involve supply chain analytics

• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies as it relates to data and analytics

• Share knowledge and expertise with the team and other departments

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of experimental servers supporting hypothesis testing and ad hoc applications

• Proactively make recommendations and identify opportunities to solve business problems

 
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 8 years of relevant professional experience

• Passion for data and analytics

• Some international travel required

• Immigration sponsorship not available for this position 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required with emphasis in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Data Science

• Strong technical skills in data integration, ELT/ETL, data modeling, quality engineering, DevOps, and SQL language usage

• Experience working with big data technologies and cloud computing platforms

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lead and manage a team of analytics engineers

• Experience working in a global environment

• Experience working with cross-functional teams

• Advanced analytics experience leveraging modern digital tools like Python, R, & SQL

• Experience in data science with data processing methods, data modeling, statistics, and machine learning

• Skilled at managing and delivering multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously
