Data Scientist - Customer Success Operations

Talend is looking to fill a full-time position of a Data Scientist. The Data Scientist is a role in the Talend Customer Success Organization on the CS Transformation team. He/she will play a pivotal role in planning, executing and delivering machine learning based projects for the Talend’s install base customer engagement programs.

Some of the things you will do:

• Learn Talend data inside and out.
• Create and manage roadmap for the data science function and vision around data-based decision making within Talend
• Identify predictive behaviors of Talend users to influence lifecycle communications that deliver value to Talend customers.
• Support strategy through data analyses
• Aggregate and prepare program data
• Identify new patterns through computational analysis, data mining, statistical analysis, time-series analysis.
• Design a new machine learning system to power the analytics efforts at Talend and solve problems across Customers Success.
• Build statistical models to predict user behavior and risks to the business.
• Collaborate with cross functional departments to leverage data science in solving complex business problems. Build and develop the business relationships towards the success of the organization.

What we are looking for in you:

• Experience in delivering Machine Learning Solutions and various data-driven analytics such as sentiment analysis and natural language processing used throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Responsible for conception, hands-on execution and end-to-end delivery of cross-functional data science projects.
• 2-5 years work experience
• Strong understanding of GDPR requirements
• Degree in computer science, data science, operational research, statistics, applied mathematics or a related quantitative field is preferred or equivalent on-the-job experience
• Have a specialization in ML, AI, cognitive science or data science
• Strong background in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Mathematical Optimization and Data Science
• Experience with Python, R, SQL
• Big Data/Cloud: Spark, Elastic Mapreduce, AWS, Elastic Compute, MLFlow, Kubernetes, Databricks

This role can be based from one of our Talend offices in the UK, France or United States, and can also be based remotely across the US
