POSITION DESCRIPTION: Develop advanced machine learning models to solve a variety of complex business problems (Personalization, Ranking algorithms, Recommendations, Search Engine Marketing, Computer vision, NLP); Prototype algorithms, evaluate, deploy, and test new models in production; Demonstrate leadership in design and implementation of new machine learning solutions for complex business problems; guide the business and advocate for best practices of machine learning to maximize business impact; Automate ETL processes; and Communicate results to business stakeholders. Telecommuting permitted up to 40%.

REQUIREMENTS: The position requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics or a related field plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related field. Position also requires demonstrable experience with each of the following: Performing independent analysis on user data; Developing machine learning models to solve complex business problems including Personalization, Ranking algorithms, Recommendations, Search Engine Marketing, or Facebook advertising; Prototyping and put into production new machine learning models, writing specifications, and collaborating with engineering teams to test and migrate new approaches into production code; Automating ETL and analytics processes; Proficiency using Python for numerical/statistical programming including Numpy, Pandas and Scikit-learn; Writing complex SQL queries; Writing production code in Python, and Spark; Carrying out and analyzing A/B tests.
