We are looking for a Process Architect, in the Product Planning and Marketing department to focus on refining Lucid’s methodology and policies for future products across multiple platforms.  They will be responsible for analyzing and predicting financial trends and KPI across all global sales markets, and continuously evaluating product value throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
They will be a large contributor to the creation and adoption of financial data analytics within the product development process and market equation ensuring Lucid’s market competitiveness, value, and fiscal performance. Will require cross-functional coordination and regular communications with Engineering, Marketing, Design, Finance, and Executive Leadership amongst other pertinent business units to form and gain consensus for overall vehicle and feature business cases.
They will support a team of intelligence leads, occasional-to-frequent support of the gathering and analysis of intelligence on competitors to be used to support key decision-making. Developing programs and tools to collect intelligence will also be expected, as will be data analysis and presentation support of important insights for specific topics surrounding the competitive condition. A successful candidate will be flexible and support many ad hoc projects and tasks as evolving as the industry and business itself.

The Role:

  • Lead the establishment and institutionalization of key business metrics and decision criteria into the overall product development, launch, and lifecycle metrics.
  • Conduct research of economic and societal trends and their impact on consumer behavior to better understand how these phenomena affect new vehicle purchase consideration and future product strategy.
  • Support market equation development and establish/socialize comprehensive business process reflecting ME milestones.
  • Perform detailed quantitative analyses using Tableau, PIN, MaritzCX, JATO, and other available resources to support strategic recommendations
  • Manage Lucid’s research and data partners and provide future recommendations on source, timing and scope.
  • Develop and deliver compelling and creative presentations for executives in support of product concepts.
  • Support product portfolio projects from a holistic perspective across models and brands and with consideration for global alignment that will have measurable impact on company progress.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Design, CS&S, Product Planning, Finance, Engineering and Sales/Marketing, etc.) in development of business cases for future products and/or capital investments.
  • Monitor and analyze market sales, industry developments, competitive actions, and economic outlook in order to prepare product strategy recommendations within business plans and annual budgets. 
  • Collaborate with Finance and Sales in business planning activities including managing and maintaining competitive intelligence updates in order to gain alignment on pricing positions and volume opportunities. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Information Systems, or related field of study
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in automotive or related industry
  • Intellectual curiosity and deep interest in the automotive industry with eagerness to grow expertise
  • Ability to support the tracking and evolution of the ever-changing industry landscape
  • Consultative skills (communications, scoping, project management)
  • Foundational understanding of competitive intelligence methods and tools
  • Understanding of research process (scoping, methodology, design, analysis, presentation)
  • Experience providing significant influence upon the structure and development of quantitative analytical tools and presentations; served as a key leader in extending critical technical capabilities.
  • Experience collaborating on cross-departmental projects where the results are visible/ impactful at a global level.
  • Experience analyzing key market data to make informed and actionable product recommendations to drive profitability, cost reduction, and/or market share and sales growth
