Fanatics Inc. is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our Data Science and Engineering team. You will collaborate closely with data-scientists, other ML Engineers, Software engineers, PMs, cross functional business units to address challenging problems using techniques from applied statistics, machine learning and/or data mining fields. 
Job Responsibilities
Play a key developer role and be part of building Big Data and ETL Infrastructure components for difference domains such as experimentations, product recommendations, search and personalizationDeliver high quality data engineering components/services that are robust and scalableCollaborate and communicate effectively with other team members to deliver strong resultsMethodical approach to areas such as Data Modeling, Data QualityGuide others in the team on architecture, design and quality engineering practicesLeverage these foundational Data Infrastructure to integrate machine learning & statistical models into real time services and power the BI & Visualization layersWork closely with data scientists to assist on feature engineering, model training frameworks, and model deployments at scale
Job Requirements
Design and build solutions for our business partners using Big Data technologiesMust   be   an   expert   in   building   complex,   multistage   data-pipelines   with heterogenous   data   sources   using   Spark   (Scala),   Flink,   Hadoop/MR,   Hive,Redshift, S3 Data Lake, AWS AthenaGood   experience   in   building   and   optimizing   Bigdata   ecosystems   such   asSpark, Hadoop and distributed systems such as KafkaMust be a solid software engineer with excellent coding skills in one of the modern languages - Python, Go, Java or Scala/SparkDesigning and building data model, integrate data from many sources, buildETL and data-flow pipelines, and support all parts of the data platformMust have expert level SQL programming knowledge and experience.Data Analysis skill – can make arguments with data and proper visualizationEnergetic, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about producing high-quality analytics deliverablesKnowledge of basic statistical analysis and machine learning desiredBS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other quantitative field or relevant work experienceTryouts are open at Fanatics!
