Senior Data Analyst (Sales)

Are you a Data Analyst who wants to contribute to the world’s most popular mobile app development platform? You will be a member of Bitrise’s Data team and work with our Go to Market team to help guide their team strategy, initiatives, and overall business direction. The role has the opportunity to accelerate our existing growth and maximize our full potential.
In the Data Team, you will work with other Data Analysts and Data Engineers to make Bitrise data-driven. We ensure that every member of Bitrise has the insights to make the right decisions, we help to connect domains with system integrations to achieve high impact and we support each team with data-related best practices.

As a Senior Data Analyst at Bitrise you will

• Find the stories buried in data and build insightful dashboards that enable everyone at Bitrise to be an analyst
• Work across Sales, Finance, and Data teams to define key metrics, develop dashboards, track metric progress, investigate changes in metrics, and propose next steps
• Be a vocal and proactive partner to the Go to Market team. Guide their line of questioning rather than just fulfilling requests. Provide insights and conclusions rather than data outputs
• Be comfortable outside of your comfort zone - understand always-changing business needs, explore new tech and tools, trace data issues to the source, or find a new way to address an old problem
• Conduct requirements gathering and project scoping sessions with subject matter experts, business users, and executive stakeholders to discover and define business reporting needs

Key skills and characteristics

• You have worked with data visualization tools - we use Tableau
• You have experience reading and writing complex SQL queries
• You're comfortable working with ambiguity and forging your own path
• You deliver results quickly with iteration, instead of waiting for perfection

What would really knock our socks off

• Prior data analysis experience with Salesforce
• Worked with sales forecasting or lead prioritization
• You have worked with stakeholders with end-to-end responsibility where you had to define user stories, design a solution and deliver a data product
