The Cruise Indirect Procurement Team is looking for a Data Analyst to support process automation and improved KPI dashboards.  This role will perform a combination of project work and support for the Procurement team at Cruise. You will be a key contributor for an organizational structure within the Procurement department. We are looking for someone who has a combination of technical knowledge and business acumen,  and is used to working in a fast paced environment with multi-functional teams such as IT, Legal, Marketing, Finance and Product Engineering teams.

• You will perform a support function by solving data related issues submitted via ticketing system (JIRA). 
• Collaborate with stakeholders, executives, and decision-makers to prioritize, design, and fulfill data needs. 
• Uphold security and internal controls standards for data reporting through administrative responsibilities. 
• Promote and drive a self-service data culture by building easy to use tools and dashboards and teaching business users how to use them. 
• You will also regularly communicate progress, risks, and completion of projects with stakeholders.

• 2+ years hands-on experience in data science or data analyst role.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with cross functional teams, troubleshoot a problem, gather information, and recommend solutions.
• Proficiency in data systems, automation tools, and web-based data visualization tools such as Tableau for full-stack data analysis, insights synthesis and presentation is highly preferred
• Proven accomplishments using needed skills and with a track record of success in a fast pace environment.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the Autonomous Vehicle space.

• Familiarity with JIRA and SpringCM
