We grow and develop and make wonderful things happen together every day. It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, what you look like, or what music you love. Join the band!
Spotify is looking for a Staff Engineer to join our Marketplace engineering organization - Spotify’s division that is dedicated to helping artists thrive. Marketplace’s mission is to build tools that help artists and their teams build an audience, monetize their fans, and live off their work. A key focus of that mission is to empower the 1 million+ monthly active artists using Spotify for Artists with self-serve marketing tools.
As the team responsible for Spotify for Artists, we build user-facing products that provide artists and their teams with the powerful stats and tools they need to grow their audience, connect with fans, manage their Spotify presence, and earn a living off their work. In this role, you’d work with engineers, product managers, researchers, and data scientists to build new features in the Spotify for Artists product.
You will take on complex data-related problems using some of the most diverse datasets available -- user behaviors, revenue streams, cultural and contextual data, and other signals across our broad range of platforms and collaborate with multiple teams on building the most efficient, reliable, and scalable data product that continuously evolves through experimentation and fast iterations.
Spotify transformed music listening forever when we launched in 2008. Our mission is to unlock the potential of human creativity by giving a million creative artists the opportunity to live off their art and billions of fans the chance to enjoy and be passionate about these creators. Everything we do is driven by our love for music and podcasting. Today, we are the world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service with a community of more than 345 million users.
