Senior Data Engineer

Recorded Future’s harvesting pipeline reads over 700,000 web sources and structured data feeds, and our real-time multilingual natural language processing technology takes that content from raw text to alerts and visualizations in minutes. As a senior data engineer, you will build, improve, and own new techniques for extracting high fidelity intelligence from our vast collection of data.

What you will do as a Senior Data Engineer:

• Lead the design, architecture, implementation, and maintenance of key data pipelines.
• Research, evaluate, and drive the technical direction for the team within and across projects.
• Provide mentorship and guidance for peers and more junior engineers by setting development schedules, delegating tasks, reviewing code, and giving meaningful feedback.
• Develop and enforce development standards and best practices for the team.

What you will bring as a Senior Data Engineer:

• 3+ years experience in python programming: you are adept at automating data flows with scalable, resilient code.
• Great problem solving capabilities and experience troubleshooting data issues within your own processes and those of others.
• Proactive communication across teams to identify and solve problems and make a project successful.
