Data Analytics Lead

As the Data Analytics Lead, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into business insights for the most advanced eGrocery automation system in the world. You will form and lead a team of engineers and analysts focused on accurate data collection, processing, modeling, and analysis that will drive key business insights and decisions.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
• Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analysts and engineers and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Work toward creation of a data driven organization using state-of-the-art tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Work with Product Management and cross functional teams to define and prioritize requirements
• Examine, interpret, and report results of analytics initiatives to stakeholders in leadership and product teams.
• Keep up data industry trends and the availability of upgrades to a system, advising organizational leaders when changes need to be made.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Strong technical, project, and people leadership capabilities
• Proven ability to plan and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Strong problem solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities
• Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques
• Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources
• Experience working with and creating data driven dashboards using relevant data to inform decisions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
• Exposure to Teradata, Hadoop, Tableau, chart.js, and other technologies and tools.
