The Role:

The 6sense Sales Intelligence product drives sales and marketing alignment by giving sales reps access to all the account data and insights they need to engage the right buyers with the right message at the right time. With Sales Intelligence, reps can easily understand where accounts are on the buying journey, how and when they’ve engaged with your brand, which contacts are part of the buying center, what they care most about, and which actions they should take next to move the deal forward. 

You will be the lead analyst and data developer on the 6sense Sales Intelligence (SI) team. You'll own and directly support the growth and development of existing and new SI product features that our customers use every day.  We are looking for a self-starter with a proven history of shipping results, successful project management, and consistently looks for ways to innovate and think outside the box.  You’re not just analyzing data here, you are developing product that effects the workflow for our 10’s of thousands of users. 
 
You’ll be in the center of all the action, there is no “typical” day in this role.  You’ll work closely with the Data Science to help them use and understand our data in the modeling process, define and capture KPIs for the Customer Success team to share with our users, work with the Product team to develop new features and enhancements to our product, and collaborate with the Engineering team while building out and optimizing data pipelines. You will work in a challenging, dynamic, fast paced environment with a mindset to contribute beyond basic responsibilities and constantly look for better ways to deliver top quality insights and solutions. 

Other responsibilities include: 

• Working with other teams at 6sense to build a reporting infrastructure to gain deeper insights into our data 
• Diving into and discovering new potential for our various data-properties 
• Building out new processes for improving and ensuring data quality 

Qualifications: 

• > 5 years of data science/analytics, business intelligence, or other analytically-focused roles 
• Advanced SQL experience (window functions, complex querying) 
• Expert in data analysis and visulization, having experience using tools like Tableau,  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field is required 

• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, constantly changing environment 
• You’re a self-starter! We are looking for someone that wants to drive and own projects from Day 1 
• Experience working with large scale data – we ingest billions of data points daily! 

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience working Presto and/or Hadoop ecosystem including Hive 
• Experience with Python, R or other scripting languages 
• Development experience with various databases and DBMSs 
• Proficient with data processing flowcharting techniques 
• Experience with Git
• You've worked in Terminal/UNIX environment 
• Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
